This card is good to earn IHG Rewards Club hotel points, but if you want to convert the points into Avios then it is better to go with the free Tesco credit card which offers 0.3 Avios per £1 than this one offers 0.2 per £1.  The good thing is that you can get IHG Gold status if you have this card and the earned points also count towards your IHG status renewal. Though it offers 2,000 bonus (10,000 IHG points) that is not suitable for the long-term value of the card.
